Take 2 Day After Wedding/Ronda Day Trip

Again per my last post this is also a do-over...

As you can imagine going to bed at 4am made getting up at 830am a bit rough.  But we were leaving at 10am for a day trip to Ronda & I wasn't gonna miss it.  We all piled into a huge bus with Paco, our tour guide, & Diego, our driver, & we had no idea what was around the corner.  I mean that literally as I painfully found out that on the way to Ronda there are 220 turns.  I know what you're thinking that the 220 turns is some extreme exaggeration.  Let me & my horrible motion sickness tell you that we felt every single one!  Personally I think Paco should tell people that before the trip starts & not halfway up the mountain when I'm pretty sure I was already turning green.  Poor Ramu tried sitting with me & talking to me but I couldn't speak as I was too busy trying not to get sick.  Luckily I was able to control it until we got off the bus but I was absolutely miserable but after that bathroom break I was a new person.

Paco guided us on a tour of Ronda but I have to admit I wasn't always listening as I was more focused on taking photos; it is a beautiful little place.  We saw the famous bridge of Ronda & another bridge from the 16th century, a winery, a bullfighting ring, town squares & other things I can't even remember right now.  The town of Ronda only has one bullfight a year & luckily it was last weekend as I couldn't watch the Matador kill that poor little misunderstood bull anyway.  However, the remnants of its death still lingers.  As you can see in the attached photo there are two red rings on the floor of the ring & yes it is what you think it is.  The other photo is this amazing entryway to some random house we walked past.  We had a yummy lunch there too where I followed my lunch with some Dramamine.  We had time for a couple more sites then it was back on the bus.  It was much easier going home than it was getting there.

Once we got back to the hotel it was time for a siesta.  After my siesta we had drinks & dinner out on one of the patios as it was our last time together as a group even though mama & papa (aka trouble) Sabapathy had already left us for their next adventure.  It was so nice to have everyone together one last time.  Then it was off to my room to finish packing & to write my posts for the last two days.  I was literally just making a correction to something when I accidentally wiped out the entire thing. Dad, it reminded me of accidentally wiping out college papers at 4am & having to call you to come over to restore it.  I'm sure neither of us miss those days.  After that frustration it was off to bed as my alarm was set to go off at 515am - at least the first one was set for that.  I do love the snooze button!
